Why Paintless Dent Repair?

Ever hear the statement after an accident “your car will never be the same again”? Traditional body work may be the solution in some cases, but there are many benefits to paintless dent repair over traditional body work.

The first big one is there is no cutting or welding of your body panels. There is no chance of mismatched gaps or warped panels. Your car retains the original metal it was born with, meaning your car will have the best chance of looking right and original. No paint work is needed is another major benefit.

Ever see a car that has mismatched grain on a fender or door? The best paint technicians must carefully mix paints and apply them for a match to be perfect, even then it may not match due to the original paint fading.

No Bondo or other body fillers is a big one. Paint adheres differently to different surfaces. Bondo over time can shrink, loosen, crack, or lose its adhesion. Improperly mixed body fillers can contribute to rust. PDR can be much faster than traditional body work since fitting, filling and painting is not required. Still, despite how good PDR is, you may need some traditional body work.

Does this mean that we will only do paintless dent repair? No, that is not always the case. In some instances traditional body work is needed.
